Heartfelt Connections: Building Bridges with Communities
Gortshom community ECCD Center
This ECCD center provides education to 26 children from a small local community in Bumthang. Jigme Expedition’s team along with our guests have been fortunate enough to contribute learning materials, daily necessities, and other essential items to support the children and the center.
Phochhu Dumra Central Monastic School – Punakha
This school provides a home and education for approximately 46 children, aged 9 and above, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. The students receive 8 years of Buddhist education, including instruction in rituals, mask dances, and religious musical instruments, among other subjects.
Cleaning Campaigns
Bhutan, as a carbon-negative country, has set an inspiring example with its laws promoting sustainable tourism and environmentally conscious activities. It’s crucial for all of us to play our part in supporting these efforts.
